Hi teacher!
Not long ago, at a teachers’ conference, a language teacher approached me and said, “Boelo, it’s really beautiful what you do for these poor dyslexic kids. But you know what? It’s not that important.”
I naturally asked her, “Why?”
She replied, “Because in all my years of experience, I’ve only seen a handful of students with dyslexia.”
To which I responded, “That you know of.”
This is exactly why I created this master class. Our society needs ALL language teachers to understand dyslexia and be able to recognize the possible signs in their students.
I have dedicated years to learning about dyslexia, working closely with both dyslexic learners and their teachers. Through this experience, I’ve discovered what truly helps – and what doesn’t – when it comes to teaching students with dyslexia a new language. This master class brings together that knowledge into practical strategies and insights!
After completing this master class, you will:
-
- Understand what dyslexia is
- Recognize it in your students
- Approach your students with dyslexia with a new perspective
- Be the teacher who truly makes a difference
Each part of the master class begins with a short story, followed by video content that goes deeper into the material.
The total time of the master class is going to be about one hour.
But I assure you that it’s going to be worth it!
